The property was carefully modernised while retaining its original character, with new materials and architectural details selected to complement and respect the history of the building.

Commercial Refurbishment

Maclo transformed a former bank into a modern restaurant while retaining key original features, including the bank vault. The completed space celebrates the building’s history while providing a distinctive and welcoming setting for customers.

Scope: Full interior & exterior refurbishment, restaurant fit-out, bespoke bar installation and restoration of original features.

New Build Construction

Maclo constructed this purpose-built detached garage and salon, creating two practical spaces within one modern building. The external finish was designed to complement the surrounding residential property.

Scope: Complete new-build construction, roofing, external finishes, garage installation and internal hair salon fit-out.

Residential Extension

Maclo delivered a modern rear extension, creating a brighter and more spacious living area with a seamless connection to the garden. Large glazed doors, clean rendered finishes and a covered outdoor area give the property a contemporary new look.

The project combines large areas of glazing, natural stone and timber detailing to complement the existing property while giving it a distinctive modern finish.
